The cushioning there is beyond compare, but they are tall, heavier and feel a little slower. I do like both of the Invincible models more for long distance.
Not that I dislike the Vomeros, but they now feel a little clunky. I like the Pegasus 39 much better than the Vomero for everything. In my rotation I have Vomero 16, Streakfly, Invincible 1, Invincible 2 and Brooks Adrenaline 21. The upper is comfy, heel lock down is good, toe box is roomy. The heel to toe transition is smooth and easy. Reasonably light, foot turnover is effortless like they know what to do without my input. They perfectly match my feet and are the most comfortable running shoes I own. From my first run these were my favorite shoes in my rotation.
